man, in my day 64 colors was extravagant. kids are way too spoiled these days. this timeline is one of those specific areas of non-fiction that indirectly say so much about how american culture has changed in the past 100 years. very entertaining. i esp. love how the name for the "flesh" color was changed, and how "magic mint" got replaced by "jazzberry jam" (insert off-colour joke here) and "mango tango".
